It is believed that in ancient times, during the periods(thousands of years back) of Mahabharata & Ramayana, Indians had nuclear technology. There is mention about a special powerful weapon Brahmastra in Mahabharata, which believed to be a modern day nuclear weapon. Over the years many valuable documents, knowledge bases are destroyed. And today one can only try to do research in the Indus valley civilization and try to understand how much the civilization was advanced socially, culturally & technologically.
